Setagaya Train View Park: A “Rail” Good Time

Never seen a train purrr like this one!

The Experience

If your kids love trains, this little park in Setagaya is a must-visit. Officially known as 世田谷電車のみえる公園 (Setagaya Train View Park), it’s a small but surprisingly fun spot with a perfect view of the Setagaya Line—including the adorable Kitty train!

There’s only one main piece of play equipment: a unique two-way slide that can be used from both directions. It may look simple at first glance, but it’s perfect for slightly older kids who love to climb and play freely. My children initially said, “That’s it?”—but two hours later, they still didn’t want to leave!

It’s a great place to bring a ball or bubbles (there’s a Daiso nearby if you need to grab some toys), and the open layout makes it easy to relax and let the kids burn off some energy while watching the trains go by.
