Starbucks Reserve Tokyo: More Than Just Coffee

The Experience
Even if you aren’t a coffee drinker (like myself), the Starbucks Reserve Tokyo is absolutely worth a visit. This flagship store is more than just a coffee shop—it’s an experience.
Not only will you find freshly brewed coffee, tea, cocktails, and signature pastries, but there are also workshops and displays showing how beans are sourced and prepared. The Reserve itself overlooks the Meguro River, making it an especially breathtaking spot during sakura season. Don’t forget to browse the gift shop for unique, one-of-a-kind products you won’t find at your local Starbucks.
Reservations & Entry
If you go in the morning, you likely won’t need a reservation. Still, making one is smart—it guarantees entry (though not a table). Once inside, grab a table tent to secure your seat. Our tip? Head straight up to the 4th floor for the best chance at snagging a table with a view.
What’s Inside Each Level:
Level 1: Starbucks Reserve – Coffee, Princi pastries, beans, retail
Level 2: Teavana – Tea, light bites, retail
Level 3: Arriviamo – Cocktails, food, coffee
Level 4: Lounge – Extra seating with a view

Make a day of it
If you’re waiting for a reservation slot, stroll down to Don Quijote Nakameguro for a bit of quirky shopping. Afterwards, wander along the Meguro River toward Nakameguro Station—you’ll pass boutique shops, a famous cheesecake bakery, and plenty of cozy eateries under the tracks, like the local favorite Junkadelic.
