Milkland Hokkaido: Dairy Delights in Jiyugaoka

No question where this milk comes from!

The Experience

Tucked just a short walk from Jiyugaoka Station, Milkland Hokkaido is a charming little shop dedicated to all things dairy from Japan’s northernmost island. Whether you're stopping by for a sweet treat or planning a full day of exploring Jiyugaoka with kids, this spot is worth a visit—just follow the iconic cow statue out front!

Inside, you’ll find a delicious selection of Hokkaido milk, cheese, yogurt, and butter, all available for purchase. It’s cozy, cute, and definitely kid-approved.

Location

📍Milkland Hokkaido – 1 Chome-24-7 Jiyugaoka, Meguro City, Tokyo 152-0035

Seating & Kid Tips

🪑 No highchairs are available on the first floor. Seating consists of low stools indoors and benches outside, which are great on a nice day.

🎨 Upon entry, grab a couple of coloring pages for the kids. If they bring them back completed, they receive a small prize!

🖍️ If you carry your own coloring tools (like we do), they can earn their prize on the same day without needing to come back later—always a win for parents!

Dining Upstairs

There’s a restaurant on Level 2 where you can enjoy a relaxed dairy-themed lunch.
Note: The dining area is reserved for restaurant guests before 3:00 PM. If it’s busy, it’s best to wait until after 3 PM for a better chance at getting a seat.
