Forest Playtime at Wanpaku Land: Slides, Nets & Ninja Hills

Children’s Forest Wanpaku Land in Odawara, Kanagawa, is a huge, free adventure park for kids of all ages. With five unique playgrounds, grassy sledding hills, tree nets, food trucks, and scenic views, this spot easily fills an entire day—and our three hours barely scratched the surface!
The Experience
While entry is free, it’s important to bring cash for optional activities and snacks. Most attractions are outdoors, so skip this park on rainy days—many areas close when wet.
Parking: Reservations are optional. We didn’t reserve in advance and were directed to Parking Lot 2 (1050 yen). From there, a mini train will collect you if needed:

🌉 We wrapped up by crossing the Wanpaku Suspension Bridge and making our way back to the car.
